Conforme o prometido pela Square Enix, a versão PC de Final Fantasy XV realmente vai sair no começo de 2018 — porém, isso vai acontecer um pouco mais tarde do que alguns fãs desejavam. A empresa confirmou nesta terça-feira (16) que o game chega aos computadores no dia 6 de março e divulgou o que será preciso ter de hardware para rodá-lo em 4K.
Entre as exigências para rodar tudo direitinho está uma GeForce GTX 1080 Ti da NVIDIA, um processador Core i7-770 ou Ryzen 5 1600X e pelo menos 16 GB de memória RAM. As especificações exigentes não devem ser exatamente uma surpresa, mesmo considerando que você precisa ter uma máquina bem mais acessível para rodar o game em 1080p.

Segundo a Square Enix, uma ferramenta de benchmark para a versão PC de Final Fantasy XV vai ser lançada no dia primeiro de fevereiro. Segundo ela, o game chega ao Steam, ao Origin e à Windows Store com suporte nativo à resolução 8K (sim, 8K!) e às tecnologias HDR10 e Dolby Atmos, com direito à compatibilidade com mods feitos pela comunidade.
Assim como acontece na Royal Edition anunciada para consoles, o lançamento para computadores traz todas as edições que a desenvolvedora fez ao game desde 2016. Apesar de adições como os Episode Gladiolus, Prompto e Ignis estarem presentes no pacote, ele não vai garantir acesso às novidades que a Square Enix está preparando para o segundo Passe de Temporada do RPG.
