Bem, a essa altura, se você esteve no planeta na última semana deve saber que a Disney detém agora quase todas as divisões da 21st Century Fox. Quem mais comemorou essa negociação foram os fãs da Marvel, pois assim os heróis mais populares da Casa das Ideias ficam sob o mesmo teto. Mas e aí, o que deve acontecer a partir de agora? Fazemos abaixo algumas projeções a respeito.
Antes de mais nada, algo que pode ser remediado desde já. Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite é prova de que as restrições do CEO da Marvel Entertainment, Ike Perlmutter, chegaram a um patamar insustentável. Agora, sem o bloqueio aos X-Men e ao Quarteto Fantástico, é bem possível que algum dos personagens apareça como DLC para o game. Isso seria não somente um presente para os fãs como também o anúncio do retorno dos mutantes, que sempre estiveram nos títulos de luta da Capcom.
A divisão mobile, que continuou utilizando esses personagens, mas de uma forma mais modesta e com jeito de “Marvel Studios”, passa a ter carta branca também para seguir mais a fundo no X-Universo ou no cantinho cósmico do Quarteto Fantástico, que ficou esquecido ultimamente. Marvel Future Fight, por exemplo, pode atualizar suas bases com arcos envolvendo Galactus ou Kang, por exemplo.
Os dois AAA ainda não devem mostrar diferenças
A Marvel tem dois projetos AAA no gatilho para os próximos anos. Um deles é uma misteriosa aventura com os Vingadores, que promete ser grandiosa. Depois de um trailer no começo do ano, nada mais foi dito a respeito e pode até ser que essa investida aproveite a volta dos X-Men e do Quarteto Fantástico, mas como extras.
Assim como próximo Homem-Aranha, que vem sendo produzido pela Sony para ser um produto exclusivo do PlayStation 4, o novo Vingadores, da Square Enix, está há algum tempo sendo desenvolvido e começar uma trama ou diferentes mecanismos só para incluir esses heróis e vilões atrasaria ainda mais os lançamentos.
A esperança, são, então, as novas possibilidades: que tal um Kingdom Hearts encontrando com Os Simpsons? Ou a pancadaria dos X-Men com a Ninhada e os Aliens? E por que não um pega-pra-capar clássico entre os Vingadores e os X-Men, com direito a participação do Quarteto Fantástico e do Dr. Destino?
Pois é, é cedo para dizer exatamente para onde vão os novos games e ainda não há nenhuma previsão. Mas como sonhar não custa nada, ideal é que a Marvel Entertainment comece a “corrigir” as ausências dos Filhos do Átomo e da primeira família de heróis — afinal, já estamos com saudade deles há algum tempo.
