O Deezer lançou uma nova categoria de serviço para quem deseja ouvir músicas com a maior qualidade possível. Por meio de um novo aplicativo para Windows e macOS, clientes do plano Premium+ da companhia já podem escutar as faixas sem compressão alguma e sem precisarem pagar nada a mais por isso – pelo menos até o final do ano.
A novidade troca as faixas em MP3 com 320 kbps, máximo de qualidade que estava disponível no serviço até agora, por versões 16-bit FLAC, trazendo o máximo de qualidade e fidelidade sonora possível ao serviço. De acordo com a companhia, são 36 milhões de músicas disponíveis nesse formato, das mais de 43 milhões que estão disponíveis em seu catálogo.
O novo sistema aparece em uma espécie de degustação, já que serve como porta de entrada para um novo serviço, que estreia em janeiro. Com a intenção clara de bater de frente com o Tidal, o anúncio da novidade veio com a revelação do Deezer HiFi, nova categoria que, no Brasil, vai custar R$ 33,80 por mês e dará acesso irrestrito às faixas sem compressão.
Hoje, apenas o serviço de streaming de Jay-Z oferece faixas no formato FLAC. A intenção do Deezer de encarar o rival é clara, não apenas pela oferta do serviço em si, mas também pelo fato de ele custar exatamente o mesmo que o concorrente em todos os mercados internacionais. Por aqui, a versão HiFi do Tidal também tem mensalidade de R$ 33,80, enquanto a assinatura tradicional, com faixas comprimidas, sai por R$ 16,90 por mês.
Além da possibilidade de ouvir as músicas com qualidade, o novo aplicativo do Deezer também traz um novo sistema de recomendações, chamado Flow, que permite o acesso não apenas a canções e artistas, mas também a entrevistas, clipes e performances ao vivo. Nesse primeiro lançamento, ainda não é possível baixar as faixas descomprimidas, mas essa funcionalidade será adicionada no futuro próximo.
Fica faltando, entretanto, apenas o aplicativo para celulares e tablets. A nova versão desktop do Deezer já está disponível para download, mas por enquanto não existe previsão de lançamento para iOS e Android. Os usuários dessas plataformas permanecem com acesso apenas às versões tradicionais do serviço.
